DESCRIPTION:My studio is set up and open for business in Hyères\, France. I have an installation of cards to sell to the public\, to add colour to the walls and to show my art over the past several years. There are 168 images of my paintings. That is all that I had good quality photos that I could print from. The figures that you see speak to the name of my Art Residency and they are a concept that I intend to develop while I am here. “Dialogue” is the name I have chosen and it provides rich and fertile ground for my imagination. I am here to paint but also to experiment and grow in Artistic and Personal ways. I am hoping to grow in my use of the French language\, Merci Beaucoup! It will allow me the time and opportunity for internal dialogue that is also very much a part of the painting process. I am working on an audio component with an AI bend. The image in the Front Window is of “Pepper” a semi-humanoid Robot who is designed with the ability to read emotions. She was created in France and Pepper is intended “to make people enjoy life”\, enhance people’s lives\, facilitate relationships\, have fun with people and connect people with the outside world.\nShe is already working on me!
