Remember…About LILIANNE

I could well be described as a “global artist at large”. Born in Paris, growing up in Australia and living for extended periods in Israel, and now, the United States. My life revolves around art – creating art, looking at art and writing about art. I exhibit extensively in regional and international galleries and museums, and my work can be found in both private and institutional collections.

My diverse cultural background has been influential in shaping a multidisciplinary approach towards my art. It would be difficult to categorize my work according to a specific genre, style, medium, or even theme. I resist self-imposed or external limitations and by doing so, have found that combining different art forms allows for the creation of a more complex visual language. As my work has evolved, so has my palette. I have found that any chosen subject matter intrinsically demands its own form of artistic expression.

Though my body of work is eclectic, it is defined by a conscious balance between the conceptual and the aesthetic. My work appeals to collectors and art lovers who not only enjoy living with art that upholds standards of beauty and skill, but who also enjoy the intellectual aspect and wit I bring to my art.
